Scentwork Class
The class will take place on Thursday, 18 September, from 18:45 to 20:15 at Roborough Recreational Hall. This class is open to all levels, and we welcome reactive dogs to participate.
Adventure Club - Hike
Join us for a hike on a circular route around Scorhill, where we’ll visit the Bronze Age stone circle along with many other historic landmarks. This will be a longer hike, offering plenty of opportunities to enjoy beautiful natural scenery at a comfortable pace. It’s sure to be a memorable adventure for both dogs and humans.
Adventure Club - Run
We’ll be running along the cycle path on an out and back route. The path provides a mostly flat and even surface, making for a smooth run with plenty of space to keep a comfortable pace. Participants should stay aware of other users on the path, such as cyclists and walkers, and keep dogs on leads to ensure safety for everyone. This is a dog and human adventure.
Adventure Club - Hike
Join us for an evening hike on a circular route around the nearby tors. This route offers stunning views and a relaxed pace — perfect for winding down for the evening. This will be a human and dog adventure.
Adventure Club - Further Navigation Workshop
Join us for a fun and informal navigation workshop at BrewDog Plymouth. This session will build upon the skills taught in the August Basics to Navigation workshop, all while enjoying drinks (and food if you like). It’s perfect for beginners, intermediate learners, or anyone wanting to refresh their navigation skills before heading out onto the hills.
This one’s mainly for the humans so you can focus on learning — but if your dog is happy to relax during the workshop, they’re more than welcome to come along.
September Pack Walk
Join us for this month’s pack walk on Sunday, 26th May at Burrator Reservoir. Please aim to arrive by 11:00, as we will start the walk at 11:10. We plan to finish the walk around 12:00.

Plymouth - UK Careers Fair

The event will be open to the public from 10:00 to 14:00, and it's a fantastic opportunity for job seekers, students, and anyone interested in exploring new career opportunities.
Adventure Club - Run
We’ll start the run outside the Promenade Cafe Bar on Plymouth Hoe, heading down toward the aquarium and looping around the Barbican. The loop is approximately 4km (2.5 miles), and we’ll finish back at the Hoe. This will be a dog and human adventure.

Join us for a refreshing morning hike around Gutter Tor, Ditsworthy Warren House, and the nearby stone circle. We’ll explore beautiful trails featuring historic landmarks and natural scenery at a relaxed pace — perfect for starting your day with fresh air and stunning views. This will be a fun adventure for both dogs and humans alike.
Adventure Club - Land Nav
Join us for a land nav around Princetown, Dartmoor. We’ll navigate across diverse terrain, visiting tors such as Hart Tor, Black Tor, Raddick Hill, Cramber Tor, and South Hessary Tor. This adventure is designed to help you put your navigation skills into practice in a real outdoor environment. Whether you’ve attended our basics to navigation workshop or just want to test your skills, this challenge offers an exciting way to explore Dartmoor’s landscape alongside fellow club members and their dogs. This will be a dog and human adventure.

Adventure Club - Basics to Navigation
Join us for a fun and informal navigation workshop at BrewDog Plymouth, where we’ll cover the basics of finding your way with confidence. Over drinks (and food if you like), we’ll go through essential skills including map reading, how to use a compass, understanding grid references, basic orienteering, and simple route planning. This session is perfect for beginners or anyone looking to refresh their knowledge before heading out onto the hills.
This one’s mainly for the humans so you can focus on learning — but if your dog is happy to relax during the workshop, they’re more than welcome to come along.
Pack Walk
Join us for our next pack walk on Saturday, 16 August 2025, around Devil’s Point and Royal William Yard. Please aim to arrive by 11:00, as we will start the walk at 11:10. We plan to finish around 12:00.

Join us for a relaxed evening walk around Royal William Yard. We’ll explore the area together, enjoy the sea air, and take in the historic surroundings. After the walk, we’ll stop for a drink or bite to eat. This will be a dog and human adventure.
Adventure Club - Run
We’ll be running a circuit/relay around the baseball field in Central Park. There’s no set distance — we’ll see how everyone feels after the first round. This is an adventure for both humans and dogs!
Adventure Club - Beach Day
Come hang out with us at the beach! We’re planning for this to be a more relaxed adventure — lounging on the sand and plenty of playtime with the dogs. This will be a dog and human adventure.

Working Dog Exhibition
We are thrilled to be a vendor at the Working Dog Exhibition on 26 July 2025 at the Niagara Conference & Leisure Centre in Sheffield, UK.
Adventure Club - Run
We’ll start the run from the Roborough Down Lane Car Park in Dartmoor National Park at 18:30. The route features mostly flat terrain and will cover approximately 3–5km (1.9–3.1 miles), depending on the pace of the group. This will be a dog and human adventure.

Pack Walk
Join us for our next pack walk on Sunday, 20 July 2025, around the Plymouth Barbican. Please aim to arrive by 12:20, as we will start the walk at 12:30. We plan to finish around 13:30.
Adventure Club - Hike
Come along for the next K9 Commando Adventure Club hike as we explore Drake’s Trail Cycle Path through Plymbridge Woods. We’ll be meeting at 9:00 on the corner of New Road and Station Road, right next to RM Bickleigh. This will be a dog and human adventure.

Adventure Club - Hike
Join us for a scenic evening hike through Dewerstone Woods. We'll make our way up to the top of Dewerstone, where we’ll stop to enjoy some drinks and take in the sunset views, before heading back down to the car park. This route offers stunning views, peaceful woodland trails, and a relaxed pace — perfect for winding down for the evening. We'll be back at the car park before dark. This will be a dog and human adventure.

Join us for our next pack walk on Sunday, 22 June 2025, at Foggintor Quarry. Please aim to arrive by 11:00, as we will start the walk at 11:10. We plan to finish around 12:00.
